The foreign tourist arrival in India crossed the 5.08 million & Domestic tourist visits in India has crossed more than 527 millions . The major part of the work conducted from behind the counter. It involves helping client plan itineraries, working out travel routes, providing information on destinations, selling tickets, arranging visas, making stay reservations, etc. There is unlimited scope to work & varieties of different job to perform with Arion.     

Aim    

To assess inherent talent, personality and abilities of a candidate to meet quality standard and service & to develop professional skill for those who want to make Travel & Tourism their dream destination. 

To develop professional skill & to work in a team a candidate is required to attend the short-term training course. The duration of this course is 15 day; willing candidate may apply on the prescribed application forms.      

Training Program offers a state-of-the art, comprehensive instructional curriculum to work in a team to tap the tourism potential.  

Eligibility 

	Graduate in any discipline
	Good communication skill, with pleasing personality
	Conversant with computer
	Should be able to handle people of various cultures.
	Knowledge of Social, political& cultural aspect ,& in-depth knowledge of the
	destination  within a particular region.

Course  

 

Introduction to tourism , Unit Development ,Creating your prospect list , your areas of influence, Establishing liaison teams and work groups, Organizational analysis, Requirements analysis, Person analysis ,Collection of data & its application in data base Management , Share contact list , folders , calendars ,securing your data enhance the team work , Plan travel itineraries / design & develop tour & travel package , Manage them cost effectively & quickly disseminate the information ,key resources , & get hold of them,  Managing account, etc.

The Training , programme has been designed on need based after analysis the job, to be performed by the candidate after the training .The object of this  training is to build the capacity & to ensure to ensure excellence as well as  to develop the inherent talent, personality and abilities of a candidate to meet quality standard and service. Rs 25, 0000, is to be submitted by the candidate , who has been selected to the training. Boarding & lodging arrangement will be provided at extra cost if available .

The venue for the training program is selected at  Bangalore , Chandigarh Chennai,  Hyderabad ,  Jammu ,  Kochi , Kolkata, Mumbai,   New Delhi  and Thiruvananthapuram. Though this is tentative & final decision would be taken keeping in view the convenience of the Participant to this Short term training.
