Chennai, is a journey in to timeless India , a kaleidoscope of moods Rich in treasures of history  from temples and shrines to forts & palaces , the landscape of the past lives easily with the present , It is the fourth largest city in India and the capital of Tamil Nadu .Retaining much of its traditional charm .

Chennai was one of the bastions of the East India Company, and the British left an indelible mark on this historic city. It is, therefore, not unusual to see a Tamil gentleman sporting an immaculate three piece suit, complete with a large vermilion or sandlewood caste mark on his forehead. Chennai is a mix of majestic Anglo Gothic buildings and ethnic temples, of five star luxury hotels and roadside tiffin rooms where a variety of local fare is served on plantain leaves.

Chennai is the Hollywood of South India. No plot is too absurd or unrealistic for a Tamil movie. At every corner of the city, the visitor is accosted by lifesize cut-out’s of popular movie stars dressed in the most outrageous of costumes extolling the merits of the latest fantasy extravaganza.

This 350 years old city ,during the 17th century, it caught the attention of the Portuguese, the Dutch and finally the British East India Company. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the British and the French tried to gain supremacy in the region and finally the British took over. During the  19th century, the city was one of the four divisions of the British imperial India ,and it has continued to grow since then.

Chennai is often called the cultural capital of India & is the gate way to South. The sprawling city which is divided in two by the cooum River, in this city you can find the perfect blend of tradition and modernity… where ‘Udupi’ hotels and fast-food joints, gopurams (temple towers) and skyscrapers, mantras and mobiles, ragas and rap, coexist…providing many a fascinating vignette of the southern heritage .

Today, Chennai while retaining her old world charm with the enchanting landmarks of a historic city, has also become a lucrative investment destination for hi-tech ventures.
